Make a tax deductible donation of goods
Any help is greatly appreciated
AmeriHand accept donations of tangible goods such as: tools , boats, bicycles, computers and small and large appliances. Anything we can use to raise money or give to the poor to help spur economic development or to help put the less fortunate on the road to self reliance.
You can gift Stocks, Bonds or make a gift from your IRA to minimize income or capital gains tax. (More info here) Consult your tax advisor to see how charitable donations from your IRA or a gift of stock may be advantageous to your overall tax planning.
We always need household goods of all types. New or slightly used shoes and clothing, bedding, pots, pans and any other household goods. Anything that may benefit a family living in poverty.
Plumbing, electrical or building supplies are always needed . Any type of plumbing or electrical fixtures as well as power tools and hand tools are always gladly accepted and tax deductible.
You can also include a gift in your Will to leave behind a legacy of caring.
Look at our wish list below for goods we need most and for shipping instructions. Pick up for large appliances and furniture is available in the Boston Metro area , Cape Cod, South Florida and New Jersey.
OCTOBER 2018: (We desperately need a truck or van for clothing, shoe and appliance pick ups in Florida. Our truck seized and we need a reliable vehicle to pick up donations to help the less fortunate.
If you are in Florida (or anywhere in the Southeast) and have a truck or van to donate, it would be a godsend.
